This Swedish company was founded by a bunch of ex-Husky employees in 1988. They are known for their innovative weight saving engine design on their bikes, and premature engine failures (1989-1997). The reason for this was because the engine didn't have an oil pump and relied on the timing chain for oil delivery. For 2009, they are turning thinks upside down (literally!). The crankshaft is shifted closer to the center of mass of the bike for improved handling. Rotating the cylinder head to 70 degrees added 4 extra inches of clearance !

The 450 now handles like a 250 because of the changes. I wish I get a chance to ride this bike.
